In-cosmetics Asia gets ready to open its doors

As the date draws near, the organizers of in-cosmetics Asia have announced details of the education programme, focusing on the industry's latest developments and innovation for the future.

The programme,which is being held in Bangkok from 2-4 November 2011, will comprise of three main components – the marketing trends programme, the innovation seminars and the innovation zone.

Cathy Laporte, Group Marketing Manager for in-cosmetics Asia stated, “The free education programme has always been one of our most important features at the show. By providing participants with direct exposure to leading industry organisations and figures, the programme helps attendees to stay on top of sector developments.”

Main components

The marketing trends programme consists of a series of seminars in which industry and brand experts analyse the latest developments in the market and impart their expert knowledge. This will include detailed facts, figures and case studies in a series of key presentations.

As part of the innovation zone, an entire area dedicated to cutting edge products launched either at the show or up to eight months before will be featured.

Companies already signed-up to showcase their products include Arch Personal Care Products, Ashland, Bioland, Dow Chemical, Mibelle and Seiwa Kasei.

The innovation seminars are led by personal care experts and have an interactive format packed with information and are designed to provide first-hand knowledge of the latest products to be launched.

Extra features

In-cosmetics Asia will be running the innovation zone Best Ingredient Award at the event for the very first time this year.

Created to recognise an original ingredient that combines innovative science and product features, winners will be announced on Thursday 3 November from 17:30 – 19:30 in the Marketing Trends Theatre.

Also an interactive display entitled Beauty and the Elements, by Mintel Beauty Innovation, will offer visitors the opportunity to touch, feel and try the latest beauty products incorporating oxygen, carbon, water and other earthly elements as ingredients.
