The latest appointments in the US cosmetics industry
AkzoNobel has announced that Jane Wang, PhD, has been appointed as regional technical manager for the company’s Asian business operations.
Her responsibilities will include technical resource allocation processes across all Asian markets and laboratories, together with developing and implementing technical service strategies for the region and ensuring technical support for all Asian customers.
Wang will be based at AkzoNobel’s Songjiang site in Shanghai, China, where she will report directly to Gary Martin, senior director of R&D at Akzo Nobel Global Personal Care.
Croda appoints Penny Vanemon
Croda’s US division has confirmed the appointment of Penny Vanemon to the position of vice president of marketing, bringing a wealth of experience in sales, marketing and technical areas from her career to date.
Vanemon is actually rejoining Croda, having started her career as a synthesis chemist at the company after graduating from Lyoming College in chemistry. Within the business she worked as a marketing manager for hair care.
She has also worked as a marketing director at Akzo Nobel, and most recently as vice president of strategy development at Resource Advantage.
Hallstar replaces its vice president
Finally, the Hallstar Company has made a new appointment to its senior management team by naming Richard Trojan as vice president of human resources and corporate services.
Trojan will be responsible for the company activities in the areas of human resources, regulatory affairs, quality assurance and safety, and will be replacing Keith Carlson, who will be retiring from his position as vice president.
Before joining Hallstar, Trojan served as vice president of human resources for Videojet Technologies, a world leader in the area of industrial ink jet technology and product-identification systems.
