This year the venue is the bigger Shanghai New International Expo Center, where the aim will be to attract a bigger crowd of visitors, in line with the rapid increase of visitor number to the show in the past few years.
In 2014 event organizer Reed Sinopharm is expecting approximately 8,000 to pass through the doors of the exhibition centre during the three days, attracted by an extended conference programme that includes more than 40 presentations, together with a number of new initiatives.
Product showcase highlights new launches
One new feature at the show will be the product showcase, which will take up a prominent position on the show floor to bring attention to all the new launches being highlighted at the event.
Simply called ‘Showcase’, this platform enables exhibitors to collectively display their new products, together with an explanation of their development and functionality.
Exhibitors will also be giving live demonstrations as part of the Showcase initiative, enabling them to reach out directly to interested parties and to network on the basis of interest from potential customers.
Leading companies to showcase new products
A number of exhibitors at the event have already confirmed that they will be highlighting new launches as part of the product showcase, including Symrise Shanghai, Bloomage Freda Biopharm and Guangzhou Trinci Materials Technology.
Currently, Reed Sinopharm is calling for companies who are set to exhibit at the event to platform their new product launches in the Showcase area, which will also give them a number of other marketing opportunities.
This service is provided as part of the exhibitors package and is available to companies whose global product launches are scheduled no earlier than September 2013, and who have chosen PCHi 2014 as their platform of choice for the launch.
