Billed as one of the biggest events of its kind for both the Asia-Pacific region and the world, the exhibition targets businesses providing raw materials for all areas of the industry, including cosmetic manufacturing, packaging, machinery and equipment.
This year show highlights will include the Beauty Challenger Awards, the BI&F Forum, Anti-aging and Spa China and the China and the ASEAN Market Trends and Import Policies workshop.
Show is first from joint-venture organisers
The event will be the first since UK-based Informa, owner of the Beyond Beauty events, formed a joint-venture with BI&F’s existing owner Shanghai Baiwen Exhibition in December of 2013, with the focus of building the show into an even bigger event.
The venture has combined the portfolio for the China Beauty Expo business to cover three beauty industry events – Cosmetics China, Cosmetech and Beauty Shanghai – which are co-located under the BI&F umbrella.
Last year all three events attracted a total of 1,657 exhibitors, covering a floor space of over 120,000 square metres and attracted almost a quarter of a million visitors, figures the organisers are hoping to build on this year.
More comprehensive conference programme
This year the event will feature a more comprehensive conference programme, with the presentation forum featuring top-level speakers who will be addressing professionals from R&D, production, purchasing, formulation, and quality control.
The programme, which will run from 1:30pm to 5pm on May 7th, will be split into three principle areas, including international market trends and analysis, natural extracts and anti-aging ingredients, as well as a feature on policies and regulation.
Look out for a further report about this event, featuring news about the attendance, together with further information about the contents of the presentations for the conference programme.
