The annual trade event, a key moment in the beauty industry’s calendar for the Asia Pacific region, offers industry professionals the opportunity to source the latest ingredient innovations, hear about upcoming market trends and gain insight into new formulation techniques.
This year, organisers say the event will take a particularly strong interest in R&D through its education programme of presentations and discussions, its Spotlight On product areas and its Formulation Lab, along with its service-specific initiatives, such as the Fragrance Zone and the Testing & Regulation Zone.
Spotlight topics
This year, the event’s organisers, Reed Exhibitions, state that three new Spotlight On product areas will be created on the showfloor, dedicated to halal beauty, anti-pollution and France, to showcase relevant innovations for each category.
Alongside these product displays, corresponding talks will be offered as part of the Marketing Trends presentations programme, giving deeper analysis on these rising markets.
L’Observatoire des Cosmétiques will offer one such presentation, Reed Exhibitions notes, revealing trends and tips for success essential in the French market.
“Speakers will offer insights that will help brands to successfully launch products, as well as providing inspiration on how they can optimise French beauty trends to give their products cachet in Asian markets,” the event organisers explain.
Formulation Lab
The event’s Formulation Lab is only open to R&D professionals, allowing participants to gain a deep insight into best practice in beauty formulation through expert advice from leading ingredients suppliers.
“The Formulation Lab offers a unique opportunity to receive hands-on formulation training and access to practical advice in a purpose-built laboratory on the show floor,” Reed Exhibitions stated.
“A number of leading suppliers, including Ashland and Croda, will host one-hour sessions, enabling finished product manufacturers to gain inspiration for a new generation of products.”
The organisers state that further information is available on www.in-cosmeticsasia.com where personal care manufacturers, formulators and other industry stakeholders can register to attend the 2016 event.
