Brand values
Wooshin also promotes its eco-friendly water-based pigment, Aqualor, and high-quality pigment for cosmetics, Cosmelor. The complete portfolio prioritises safety and technology to develop environmentally-friendly liquid aqueous pigments.
Korea's first aqueous and oily pigments, Aqualor (Au Series), is complete with anti-blistering characteristics and is typically used for its “high compatibility, fast drying, and outstanding weather and water resistance”.
Wooshin's Universal colouring agent (AU Series), which comes in nine colours (red, black, orange, green, brown, violet, blue, white, yellow), earned the environmentally-friendly certificate, Singapore Green Label, issued by Singapore Environment Council in 2013.
Cosmetics use
The company's water-based pigment, Cosmelor, has been created using Wooshin's milling and mixing formulation technology. This is contained in a wide selection of Korean cosmetic products including nail polish, mascara, shampoo, eyeliner, and lip gloss.
Environmentally-friendly and solvent-free, Wooshin provides organic and inorganic pigment and dye to various industrial fields. Its powdered form of pigment has also been used in colouring cosmetics.
Success to date
With her mission to foster the needs of customers and the environment, Chang created a management policy that uses a nontoxic organic-inorganic complex pigment.
"Wooshin's quality control system team works relentlessly for our customers. As our pigment is so widely used in life, we want to make sure it is in its best condition,” enthused the company’s CEO, Sungsook Chang. "Wooshin's frontier spirit will never cease to amaze the customers in future,” Chang added.
