Grant Industries introduces Super Grant Girl Fizz Mask in Korea

Recognising the impact and influence that Korean cosmetics have on the global industry, Grant Industries was present at in-cosmetics Korea and took home silver at its Formulation Awards.

The speciality performance chemicals researcher, developer, manufacturer and marketer introduced its Super Grant Girl Fizz Mask to the Korean cosmetics arena.

As consumers look for personal care ingredients that are primed to come to their rescue for a host of skin care concerns and needs, Grant Industries has built upon its superhero beauty concept to launch its latest offering.

Gransil SiW-7100 system

Sensory personal care is gaining traction as shoppers want to feel the full effect of products. Grant Industries superhero mask delivers a unique sensory and "fizz" experience on the skin via oxygen delivering Gransil SiW-7100.

A potent delivery system for non-ROS oxygen, the Gransil SiW-7100 gel entraps oxygen carrying Methyl Perfluorobutyl Ether into an elastomer matrix with an external water phase to manage evaporation in manufacturing and on application.

Oxygen loss and ageing

Oxygen is a basic requirement in aerobic respiration in order to produce ATP cellular energy. This is important as Grant Industries explains that the loss of oxygen levels in the skin drops by 25% at the age of 30 and by up to 50% at age 40.

This oxygen loss to the skin can be greater in highly polluted environments such as urban areas and in populated cities. This is a clear key concern for Korean buyers in particular, as anti-pollution skin and hair care items are increasing in popularity.

Anti-pollution trend

“The current anti-pollution trend is one that is not going away,” Grant industries noted in a recent press release.

“Besides actives and barrier materials that block airborne particulates, formulations that highlight technologies like Gransil SiW-7100 are effective and should be included in anti-pollution products so that oxygen can be reintroduced to the skin,” Grant Industries added.

To combat this reduction, oxygen must be applied topically back to the skin via advanced delivery systems like Gransil SiW-7100. This oxygen delivery aims to leave the skin refreshed and re-energised.

Application and use

Grant Industries recommends that users should apply a generous amount to clean (dry) skin and spread evenly for 5-10 seconds. After waiting 1-2 minutes until fizzing appears, then massage this all over and rinse away with water.

Along with its sensory and oxygenation "fizz" experience, the innovative Gransil SiW-7100 has been proven in vivo that even after rinse off applications oxygen levels were retained in the skin from initial delivery.

Skin Oxygenating Gransil SiW-7100 has industry applications in personal care segments including anti-ageing, anti-blemish, oil control, diabetic or severely compromised skin, anti-bacterial, and wound healing.

Focusing on its superhero message, Grant Industries relayed: “Packed with power our superhero beauty materials help defeat the most feared skin villains.”

“From disguising unwanted imperfections, being equipped to provide killer lips, to fighting the evil signs of ageing and crepey skin these materials protect against Kryptonite to offer a more beautiful and heroine-like appearance.”

Grant Industries has also highlighted its new 'super powders' Granpowder EDC-600 and Granpowder QSC, phenyl-modified Granresin PHQ-Fluid for long wear/shine balance, intergalactic Gransil SBG-11 sensory elastomer, Wonder Woman-like Gransil Blur-X60, and combat ready Gransome Heptapeptide-7.
