COSME Tech returns to Japan later this month for its 10th edition from January 20–22, and CosmeticsDesign-Asia will be on-site to cover the latest launches, insights and trends.

It features eight specialised zones from ingredients to packaging and will welcome 880 exhibitors from 30 countries and 30,000 visitors.

According to the organisers, the main reason for international visitors to attend the show is to experience high-quality Japanese products and service.

“Due to the growing demands for safe and reliable cosmetics, Japanese manufacturing services are getting more popular across the world. COSME Tech, as the leading show of its kind in Japan, gathers almost all Japanese major companies and many of middle-sized manufacturers providing OEM services with specific features such as halal or organic.”

There is also a large global contingency, showing ‘world-advanced’ technologies and services from 35 countries.

These include a world-first microneedle technology which dissolves when left in the skin, a non-chemical squeezed rice oil with high performance for brightening/UV absorption and the very latest eco-friendly packaging.

COSME Tech 2020 will be held under the name of “COSME Week TOKYO”, which includes two co-located shows - COSME TOKYO (Japan’s largest cosmetics trade show for finished products) and INNER BEAUTY TOKYO (Japan’s leading show for beauty & health foods).
