Japanese femcare brand LUMÉRE BEAUTY expands line-up targeting vaginal and bust care

Japanese femcare brand LUMÉRE BEAUTY is seeking to address minor discomforts faced by women in daily life by expanding its line-up with two new products targeting the “delicate zones”.

DINETTE Co Ltd debuted its first beauty brand, PHOEBE BEAUTY UP, in February 2019, developing skin care and makeup products, including eyelash serum.

With the aim of becoming a holistic cosmetics firm that supports “all women to be confident about themselves”, it launched a second in-house brand, LUMÉRE BEAUTY, Iast January.

LUMÉRE BEAUTY focuses on feminine care, seeking to reduce minor discomforts that women experience every day, and ultimately leading to a positive change in mindset and greater self-acceptance.

The brand recently announced the upcoming release of two new products, which will add to its current line-up of hair remover, femcare soap, femcare sheet, and whitening cream.

Specifically, the new Femcare Moisture Oil is formulated with lactic acid bacteria-derived ingredients (lactobacillus-fermented pear and lactobacillus-fermented lotus seed extracts) that help balance the skin microbiome in sensitive areas.

“These two ‘bio-care’ ingredientsimprove the texture of skin in the delicate zone, which is prone to becoming rough and dry as well as a breeding ground for bacteria. They help to condition the skin to keep it healthy,” ​the brand said.

In addition, the product contains 10 botanical oils that have been “carefully selected” for lasting hydration, and are claimed to moisturise while leaving a smooth finish so that even those who are not fans of sticky oils can use it with ease.

The oils include macademia nut oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, rosehip oil, and tea tree oil.

Sleep time upgraded

According to LUMÉRE BEAUTY, like facial care, “good quality sleep is important for a beautiful bust”.

The other new product, Femcare Night Up Cream, focuses on bust care during sleep. It contains a double blend of ingredients called Synchronight and Immunight.

Synchronight is an active ingredient made from gardenia fruit extract that is said to protect the skin against digital stress, stimulates skin rejuvenation, and preserve the melatonin secretion cycle, resulting in younger-looking skin and better sleep.

Similarly, Immunight has shown to improve sleep quality while boosting the production of melatonin to resynchronise the circadian rhythm for enhanced skin maintenance.

“The bust is a very delicate area comprising blood vessels, lymphatic vessels, nerves, etc. Because it is sensitive to friction and irritation, it is important to care for it gently without scrubbing or massaging it more strongly than necessary.

“Femcare Night Up Cream provides easy bust care without the need for massage via a three-way approach. You can simply apply it and go to sleep.”

The three-way approach involves boosting skin elasticity, firmness, and moisturisation through the use of various functional ingredients, such as Volufiline and hyaluronic acid, botanical oils, and plant extracts.
Both new products have a subtle, lingering white musk scent concocted from a blend of cool, refreshing citrus and floral notes, such as jasmine. The scent is designed to mask unpleasant odours in delicate areas.

LUMÉRE BEAUTY’s Femcare Moisture Oil and Femcare Night Up Cream will be available from September 4 and early October, respectively, via PHOEBE BEAUTY UP’s Rakuten Ichiba official online store and other e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Yahoo! Shopping, and Qoo10.
