Carté HD marks SEA expansion with Singapore launch, plans 2025 Thailand debut
Kosé-owned Carté HD has made its debut in Singapore and has plans to launch in Thailand next year as part of overall global expansion plans.
Carté HD is a sensitive skin brand jointly developed by Kosé and Maruho, a Japanese pharmaceutical company, Maruho.
The brand launched exclusively with Welcia-BHG stores in Singapore in October, marking its debut in the region.
Unilever India reports positive feedback on palm-reduced soap formulations
Unilever's India subsidiary is receiving encouraging initial feedback on its new palm-reduced soap formulations under brands LUX and Lifebuoy.
The Stratos technology, which took almost five years to develop, replaces palm oil ingredients like polysaccharides, vitamin blends and skin actives, allowing the firm to reduce its use of palm oil by 25%.
With the Stratos technology, HUL’s significantly reduces its reliance on palm oil, making it less susceptible to the fluctuation of palm oil prices.
Skincalories invests USD1.9m to produce 10 original songs ahead of 2025 expansion
Singapore beauty brand Skincalories is partnering with music labels to produce 10 original tracks it believes will amplify its brand as it gears up for expansion plans in 2025.
Launched in 2019, Skincalories is targeted at people with active, on-the-go lifestyles.
The brand seeks to differentiate itself in the competitive beauty market by focusing on an entertainment-driven marketing strategy.
K-beauty brand ANUA plans to expand to 120 Boots outlets by October
South Korean beauty brand ANUA is set to expand its presence in Europe with plans to roll out to 120 UK Boots outlets by October as it works to increase its global footprint.
The K-beauty brand expanded its UK presence with its launch on Boots online last month.
According to the company, its Niacinamide 10% + TXA 4% Dark Spot Correcting Serum was sold out within a day of the launch.
Ya-Man launches new skin care series with 24K gold-coated microneedles
Japanese beauty device company Ya-Man will launch two skin care products featuring 24K gold-coated microneedles to support overall skin health and address signs of ageing.
Its two new products – Medilift Needle Lift Peel Serum and Medilift Needle Lift Lotion – incorporate approximately 600,000 and 1.8 million microneedles respectively.
According to the firm, the number of needles has been adjusted to the optimal levels for ease of use.
